Same-Day Dentistry in One Visit

CEREC is an acronym for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. It means that a dentist can restore damaged teeth in a single appointment using a high-quality, high-strength porcelain material that matches the color of adjacent natural teeth.

At El Segundo Beautiful Smiles, we use CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing) technology. A special camera scope takes a digital impression of the prepared tooth. Then the restoration is designed on the computer. This individualized design gets sent to the milling machine. If needed, the porcelain is glazed to match the unique shades of your teeth and is cured in a special oven. Finally, the dentist bonds or cements your new beautiful porcelain restoration.
